The FCT Research Projects “Irregular connections on algebraic curves and quantum field theory” (PTDC/MAT-PUR/30234/2017) is hosted by the Group of Mathematical Physics of Lisbon University.

It is meant to be fertile research and training environment for senior and junior scientists working in the fields of Geometry, Mathematical Physics, and Theoretical Physics.

The project is divided in 5 distinct research lines, which are linked by a beatiful and not-yet-completely-understood web of relations, which include the prominent role played by linear differential equations with regular and irregular and singularities singularities. These are:
